Tessalon Perles: What is it?

A non-narcotic cough medication called Tessalon Perles numbs the lungs and throat, lessening the activity of the cough reflex.

  • extreme fatigue or lightheadedness;
  • confusion, hallucinations.
  • persistent tingling or numbness in your face, throat, or mouth;

  • a sensation of choking;
  • chills; or
  • in your eyes, scorching.

Tessalon Perle’s capsules may cause some of these adverse effects if they are chewed or sucked.
