Tessalon Perles: What is it?

Coughing relief is provided with Tessalon Perles.

A non-narcotic cough medication called Tessalon Perles numbs the lungs and throat, lessening the activity of the cough reflex.

Side effects of Tessalon Perles

If you have any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction: hives; trouble breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, stop taking Tessalon Perles and get emergency medical attention.

Serious adverse effects are possible with Tessalon Perles. Make a quick call to your doctor if you have:

extreme fatigue or lightheadedness;
confusion, hallucinations.
persistent tingling or numbness in your face, throat, or mouth;
feeling numb in your chest;
a sensation of choking;
chills; or
in your eyes, scorching.

Tessalon Perle’s capsules may cause some of these adverse effects if they are chewed or sucked.

Tessalon Perle’s negative effects frequently include:

headache, lightheadedness;
nausea, stomach discomfort;
constipation
irritation, rash; or
congested nose.
